Introduction of the Kosy Wind Power project
The Kosy project is one of the main Wind power projects in Vietnam in 2021 with a scale of 14 hectares, totally 45 turbines, with a capacity of over 200 MW and total investment of more than VND 8000 billion.
In October 2020, Kosy Bac Lieu wind power plant phase 1 started construction site with a capacity is 40MW, totally 9 WTG. This project has a implementation period of 12 months, is expected to be completed and put into production in October 2021. In this project, the investor trusted the turbine manufacturer Goldwind – China with an electricity output of 115kW / year, ensuring a power supply for Bac Lieu Province as well as another Southeast province.
Look at the specification of WTG, we can see that this project the Investor used WTG with the type of 3.2MW, beside it the Hub height is up to 130m, so it is the one of the high wind turbine in Vietnam. The biggest items load of each WTG is a generator weighing 100 tons, so our engineering have calculatedand proposed the 800t crawler crane with boom length 144m to install this project.
In addition, Ground condition in Bac Lieu is quite soft and the construction site is not near Sea, so the options for using support crane will also be suitable for such wet ground also.
